Sophomores Jack Marvel and Max Graubert after finishing the 25 mile race.

This weekend on October 5th and October 6th, bikers from all around St. Louis came together to support Pedal the Cause, an organization benefitting The Siteman Cancer Center and the St. Louis Children’s Hospital.  Some raced in teams, others in pairs and others solo.  Clayton High School students Jack Marvel and Max Graubert were two of the CHS students that joined in on the race.  Those who chose to participate were given the choice to bike 15, 25, 50, or 75 miles.  The money that was collected was used to help with cancer research.  Bikers raised a total of $1,679,601 for the cause.
