"Pippin," a production of the Clayton High School Performing Arts Department, provides the audience with a memorable experience: it is without a doubt unlike any other musical. Playing from Jan. 30-Feb. 2, the show stars CHS senior Aaron Argyres. What makes "Pippin" so unique is the fact that it is a show about putting on a show. This setup leaves the audience constantly wondering what possibly could come next.

The class of 2024. Gathering two hours before the bell, seniors reunited with friends on Gay Field, Monday, Aug. 21, starting the last first day. The heat index reached 117 degrees, and the sky was obscured by fog. Senior Bora Saner said. “I am both so excited and nervous about leaving school. I am sad about parting ways with my friends.”

Learning to sew at eight years old by her Grandma, Annie Bisone has always had a passion for sewing and fashion, “All through high school and college, I made all my own clothes and shoes,” said Bisone. Her brand Lala Workshop, stemmed from wanting to create clothing she wasn’t seeing anywhere else. Not only are Bisone’s pieces fashionably unique, but also sustainable, “I reclaim fabric from whats leftover post production from design houses thats high quality. And then with the limited quantities I have I build and construct a fabric,” said Bisone. For over 10 years, Bisone also worked on a gender neutral children’s clothing line, “I kind of had a short little window of time, where I was patterning up for a wider audience because my son was getting older so I didn’t just want to keep making children’s clothes, said Bisone.
