CHS Symphonic Orchestra Concert A Success

On Tuesday Nov. 27, the CHS symphonic orchestra concert was held in the auditorium.

The concert was directed by Julie Hoffman, the orchestra teacher. Junior Doren Lan played the first movement of MacDowell’s second piano concerto, prompting an ovation from the crowd.

The event featured music from Brahms, MacDowell and Mendelssohn.

For those interested in future events, the spring concert for the symphonic orchestra will occur on May 7.
