CHS Students Win Writing Awards

Globe Staff • April 17, 2013
Teddy Kogos, Clayton High School Senior, placed 2nd in the 2013 Southeast Missouri Writing Achievement Awards Fiction category for his short story “Censored Realizations.”
Alyssa Fritz, Clayton High School Junior,  placed 3rd in the 2013 Southeast Missouri Writing Achievement Awards Poetry category.
Laura Townsend, Clayton High School Senior, is a high school finalist for the 2013 LaBute New Theater Festival. Her script “Imagination” will be featured at the Gaslight Theater in St. Louis, Mo. the weekend of July 5th.

Orchestra Director Daniel Henderson leads a Symphonic Orchestra performance. Clayton performers have won numerous awards and convention trips as ensembles and individually.
