Starbucks in Cheshire Inn Review

Emma Ebeling, Writer

Next to the classic old-timey theatre, The Hi-Pointe, sits the Cheshire Inn, a newly renovated hotel at the intersection of Clayton and McCausland. While the hotel has always been a great spot for out of town guests, it is now also

the ultimate Starbucks location

.

The door to that part of the Inn was built right into the side of the building, making it difficult to see but we got inside and all at once I was surrounded by amazing smells even better than the Starbucks on Wydown, which is saying alot. It was in a different format than most Starbucks I’ve been to, they had changed it up a bit making it more appealing.

The music was vintage and the feeling of the place was so warm and toasty. The line went fairly fast and I got to take in my surroundings while we waited.

On either side of us, were shelves filled with mugs and coffee that we could buy and there was sort of an open cold area where sandwiches sat along with sparkling water and appetizers. Next to the ordering counter, there was a glass case with all the pastries and such inside.

The baristas smiled at me and my mom the whole time and while we ordered. When we stepped into the next room I was blown away. There was a real fireplace along with sofas and couches and seating all around.

It smelled even better in here. I got my drink in a matter of minutes. Also what made me really want to go back was that one of the baristas had written my name on the cup with a smiley face and a drawing of a cat. It was so fun I almost went and thanked her.

In summary, I had an excellent experience at the new Starbucks in the Inn and I would most definitely go back again.I recommend it to anyone who wants really good coffee and a snack.
