Favorite childhood memory?

I have 4 younger brothers so we were constantly playing sports and competing. I think my favorite game to play was hand hockey. It was a lot of fun and always got pretty serious. Plus I’ve been called the “Sidney Crosby” of hand hockey so I rarely lost.

Favorite thing to do in St. Louis?

Go to Blues games!!!!!

Thing you’re looking forward to the most about working at Clayton?

Everyone here seems so freaking happy. I love it!

Favorite teaching memory?

At FBLA State Competition this past Spring I had a Business Law student who didn’t expect to do great and was just happy to make it to the State Competition. I worked with her and kept telling her she’s got a shot at this. During awards she was called to the stage, which meant she was top 5. She was shocked!! Then they announced 5th place, wasn’t her. Announced 4th place, not her. 3rd, nope…then 2nd…not her. She got first. She was on cloud nine. It was a great experience to be a part of.

Hobby?

I love watching sports (Blues, UNC basketball, Golf, Cardinals & more).
I love playing sports (golf, hockey, basketball).
Doing anything & everything with my wife & son, who is 1.
Doing physical activities, like the Tough Mudder. I have done 4 of those.

If you could have any superpower, which would you choose?

I would choose teleporting because I hate wasting time sitting in traffic every day.

If you weren’t teaching, what would you be doing?

Modeling . . . Not really, but last year I told my students that was the reason I was leaving and a few of them actually believed it. I would love to do something with golf. I could golf every day of my life. Too bad I’m not any good. However, my son is going to be on the PGA Tour in a few years (like 16 or 17 years) and I plan on caddying for him.
