The girls softball team defeated Hazlewood East 18-3. “It was a really good game for Isla,” senior Genevieve Roach said. “She’s a sophomore, and this [was] just her second year playing varsity as a pitcher. This game was a good one to work on the small things.”

Jewish Student Union meets on Tuesdays in Science teacher Sarah Falkoff’s room at 11 a.m. to engage with and celebrate Jewish culture. “I really enjoy JSU because it allows me to spend time with other Jewish teens and just get to learn more about my religion and culture,” junior Sari Gross said.

The boy’s soccer team continued to win with their game against Marquette 3-0 on Sept. 9. Their current season record is 6-1.

Senior Lauren Young poses with her teammates after breaking the school record of 1,203 career assists. “Breaking the record meant a lot to me because it wasn’t something I was expecting to do when I first joined the team,” Young said. “It’s exciting to know that I will forever be in the books for Clayton volleyball because the program means so much to me.”
