Tara Williams

Tara Williams, Opinion Section Editor

Tara Williams is a Senior at Clayton High School, and has been on the Globe staff for four years. She is a co-Opinion Section Editor. Tara was born in South Africa, and then moved to Australia and India before moving to Virginia, and finally St. Louis. Her international background is a major reason why she is interested in Opinion stories. Tara was new to CHS freshman year, and she joined Globe with Sophie Barnes, her first friend from CHS, and her twin sister, Ashleigh. Her favorite stories to write include restaurant and movie reviews, op-eds, and news/feature stories with Lucy Cohen. Outside of Globe, Tara plays on the Girls' Golf team, and is the President of the Chinese Culture Club. She is also involved in the Indian Culture Club, because her mother is Indian. Her favorite holiday is Halloween.
