Words With Friends. If you haven’t played it already, chances are you’ve heard of it. For over a year, the game has been spreading across the country. Helped to be made famous by Alec Baldwin’s ejection from an American Airlines flight, the game has proven to be both addicting, and memorable.
The scrabble-style game can be played on iPhones, Androids, and even facebook. The playing board comes complete with double and triple letters and word tiles. However, players must trust each other not the cheat while playing the game.
Sites on the Internet pride themselves in coming up with a program that gives players words they could use in their games. My friend immediately knew that I cheated and I felt horrible. Not only had I cheated, but I had failed to cheat in a word game. That friend and I have yet to play another game. My cheating has added an amount of distrust in Words with Friends, and even in our friendship.
Words with Friends has become an addicting way to get through the day by planning your next move and a way to prove yourself against your adversaries.
