Greyhound Baseball Wins

Sophomore John Howard pitched a no-hitter, leading the Greyhounds to a 9-0 win over Whitfield.

When the Greyhounds jumped to an early one run lead, they never looked back. Howard’s pitching would prove to be enough, but the Clayton squad tacked on eight more runs throughout the night.

Junior Auggie Mense had two hits, a walk and two RBIs. Senior Aaron Adams tripled, and sophomore Jake Brown had a solid day at the plate with a hit in two at bats.

Clayton’s next game is Tuesday at Windsor.
