Greyhounds Ready For District Finals

Today is a big day for the Clayton baseball program. The Greyhounds will take on the John Burroughs Bombers in the district finals. The Bombers will start pitcher Alex Jasiek, a junior, who shutout the Greyhounds in the district semi finals last year.

Clayton had an impressive win on Monday over a very good MICDS team. John Howard pitched a complete game, giving up only one un earned run in seven innings.

“It was good to avenge the loss … against MICDS earlier this year, but we’ve got to come out on Wednesday and play a good game on Wednesday,” Howard said.

The Greyhounds are expected to start senior Nick Stone against Burroughs.
