Rechan Commits

Senior Mac Rechan has one less worry than most of his classmates: he already knows where he will attend college.

The tennis standout has already made a verbal commitment to attend Georgetown University.

Rechan has won the Missouri state singles title once and finished second in the competition two other times. He was also named the St. Louis Post Dispatch All-Metro Player of the Year in both his sophomore and junior years.

Rechan looked at many schools to play tennis at but, in the end, Georgetown stood out. He liked the coach, the chance to succeed in the Big East and the good education.

On his choice, Rechan said, “I just kind of fell in love with the school in general.”
