“I had been working as a youth services provider for the public library before I came to Wydown. I always really love[d] libraries, and I guess I had never thought about being a librarian, that’s my hobby, reading. I really wanted to be like a park ranger, that’s what I started out. But then, when they were like, ‘You’ll have to do law enforcement’. I was like, ‘Oh no, I just want to talk about nature and lead tours.’ So that’s when I was like, ‘I don’t want to be carrying a gun and doing all that stuff.’ So I switched from park ranger to my other love, which was books.”
