“I have a lot of not [so] favorite childhood [memories]. In second grade my best friend left the school because his uncle came in [to school our second grade classroom unannounced] and was [seen as] an intruder. So he got kicked [out of school]. I never saw him again after that. At the time, I remember walking home very sad. His family switched numbers and emails and everything [so it was hard to keep in touch with him]. I remember his mom asking my mom if I wanted to go to his birthday party, two years later but [I remember we] had my sister’s soccer thing out of town. So it didn’t really work out [and I never really saw him again].”
