"A Prehistoric Beast" - A Marine Iguana reminiscent of a prehistoric beast basks in the strong equatorial sun on the island of Isabela. In his famous voyage, Charles Darwin found these iguanas, which are indigenous to the Galápagos islands, to be "disgusting" and "clumsy", often calling them "imps of darkness."
