Halloween celebrations in elementary school featured parades, parties, and, if you were a Captain Cougar, a choreographed dance to the Michael Jackson hit, “Thriller.” Wydown facilitates tamer fall activities, like pumpkin decorating. By the time students reach high school, most celebrations are often set aside in favor of continued academic focus. But just because school no longer offers Halloween and fall festivities doesn’t mean students shouldn’t celebrate the season!
