From March 7 to March 9, the National Forensics League (NFL) district tournament was held. Clayton competed in the tournament, entering the fourth largest amount of events out of 28 schools.

Three CHS students qualified for the national tournament.

Qualifying for nationals were senior Alex Meneses, who finished fourth in Lincoln-Douglas Debate, senior Ian Tarr, who finished second in Domestic Extemporaneous Speaking, and seniors Noam Kantor and Ian Tarr, who finished second in Public Forum Debate. Megan Nierman finished fifth in Lincoln Doublas Debate, and will be an alternate for nationals.

The national tournament will be held in June in Birmingham, Alabama.
