Today, the civil war in Syria has changed.

Assad has been charged with killing up to 1300 people by the use of chemical weapons in Damascus. Assad denies the accusations, and is currently being backed by the Russia. Chemical weapons were a “red line” that Obama has said would trigger more intervention within this polarized area of the world. With this new aspect of the story in Syria, it will be interesting how the United States reacts. The United States will determine the future for this already torn nation.
